Low maintenance does not mean no maintenance. Even luxury hair requires a proper routine to maintain softness, reduce tangling, and preserve the overall quality of the unit.

CARING FOR YOUR NATURAL HAIR UNDERNEATH

Your natural hair still requires attention underneath your install.
• Keep your hair and scalp moisturized regularly
• Avoid excessive tension around the edges
• Do not leave braids underneath for extended periods without maintenance
• Protect your hair at night using satin or silk materials whenever possible


GENERAL WIG CARE TIPS

• Always detangle or brush starting from the ends and work your way upward
• Curly units require a detangling routine, especially near the nape area
• Wash colored wigs in cool water
• Always rinse conditioner out using lukewarm or cool water
• Store your wig in a satin bag to help reduce tangling, friction, and breakage
• Excessive daily heat can reduce the longevity of the hair over time
• Hair is hair — whether it is growing from your scalp or sewn onto a weft, shedding is natural over time


CURLY UNIT MAINTENANCE

Curly hair requires consistent moisture and maintenance to remain defined and manageable.
For curly textures, we recommend:
• Aussie Shampoo + Conditioner

To refresh curls:
• Lightly mist with water
• Detangle gently
• Apply mousse or styling products as needed
• Avoid aggressively brushing dry curls

STRAIGHT UNIT MAINTENANCE

For straighter textures, maintaining moisture balance without overloading the hair with heavy oils is important.

LACE CARE

HD lace is an extremely delicate material and should always be handled with care.
• Avoid pulling or shifting the wig directly by the lace
• Clean lace gently without excessive rubbing or scratching
• The knots used on our HD lace units are single tied for a more natural appearance, which means rough handling can cause premature thinning
• Lace shedding and thinning can naturally occur over time with regular wear
